The Gilbert Gazette is an unofficial web site for the community of Gilbert, Iowa, and has been on-line since June 2002. It has been provided as a non-profit service by Helen D. Gunderson. She is a 12-year resident of Gilbert, former city council member, photographer, and communications generalist who works under the name of Gunder-friend Productions. On September 2, the Gazette had posted an announcement that it was looking for a new editor. In January of 2006, a team of four representatives of the Gilbert Main Street Association stepped forward to assume responsibilities for the Gazette. We anticipate that they will soon be making changes to the site and updating material on it. For further information, contact Miles Moore at the Consignment Gallery. We've appreciated serving the community via the Gazette and thank you for visiting. Feel free to browse, and if you have questions or suggestions or perhaps wish to submit commentary for posting on the Gazette, please contact us. Thanks. |
